On the first day God made the light. On the second day God made the sky. On the third day God made the trees, flowers, mountains, rivers, island and beaches. On the fourth day God made the moon, dancing stars and the fiery sun. On the fifth day God made the birds and the fish. On the sixth day God made the animals and man. And on the seventh day God rested.

On the first day God made the light. He then made the sky and on the third day God made the flowers, and the trees and the mountains and the rivers. God made the fiery sun, the bright moon and the sparkling stars on the fourth day. On the fifth day God made the fish and the birds. On the sixth day God made the animals and man. God rested on the seventh day.

Learning Intention: We are learning to understand that God wants us to care for His Creations.

Room 2 picked up the rubbish we found around our school.

We found different types of rubbish. For example foil packets, plastic bottles, juice cartons, papers and mini packets. The rubbish will get into the drains. The rain will come down and will wash the rubbish out into the sea and rivers. This makes our rivers and the sea dirty and the fish and eels will get sick and die. 

Let us keep our rivers and the sea clean.

Room 2 went to pick up the rubbish around the school grounds.

We picked a lot of plastics, juice cartons, paper and foil. This rubbish will get into the drains and the rain will wash it out into the sea and rivers. The eels and fish will die because their home is polluted.

Yesterday Room 2 children picked up rubbish from under the trees and near the fence.

We picked up plastics, foil paper, juice cartons, and paper. We put it all in the rubbish bin so it doesn’t get into the drains. The rain will wash it through the pipes and out into the sea and rivers. The fish will eat the rubbish. They might think the rubbish is food.

We can work together to protect our Earth.
